Following is the expected behavior -
1. Planning book which is showing you value in KF-C has default macro to do the calculation. It will display (randomly calculated) value in KF-C.
2. Planning book which is NOT showing you value in KF-C DO NOT have such default macro. It will not display value in KF-C as there is no value exist in livecache db.
3. However if you run background job for this macro calculation, value in KF-C will be calculated and it will be saved in livecache database. You will be able to see that value from Planning Book even if you do not have any such default macro.
4. Planning area data extraction into backup cube - Whatever data exist in livecache at the time of extraction, it will get backed up in backup cube. Please verify your data extractors using transaction RSA3 or you can use /SAPAPO/SDP_EXTR(Test Datasource option). Verify the data extracted for your selection/keyfigure compare against values from Planning area.
