Data warehousing is nothing but historical data or central data repository of any enterprise.

You should know about star schema or snowflack schema for data warehousing.

In data warehousing there are basically two types of table Fact & dimensions.

I think you should go through Kimball's data warehousing concepts for better understanding.

There are many books by Kimball.. Dimension modelling , ETL data warehousing etc.

Just go through it.. It's take some time to understand ..
