When are you creating new Personnel area and sub area , definitely you should have asked your clients what is the reference personnel area and sub area to create the new one. if you have got that..
Do the following
1. Create personnel area
2. Then create personnel subarea system itself will ask for the personnel area to be assinged , you can give that..
3. then go to enterprise structure in spro - click on assingment tab. do the assingment of Personnel area to company code.
Once you have done this. go to the table.v_001P_all
it will ask for country grouping , give your country and get inside. you can see your new personnel area and subarea with the value 00 in it. this table is a single table where you can do grouping configurations at one shot. like absence grouping, work schedule grouping, holiday calendar etc.
this is the place reference personnel area which you have from client will be helpful , as you can do the same grouping as the reference personnel area.. so the new personnel area also works as a existing reference personnel area.
Thats it.. do hiring and it will work..
