Yes it is possible. You have to import those js libraries in the xs project which you created in SAP Hana studio. This is the advantage of using javascipt. Though you might not mix with using the core api that connects to hana db , you can use third party js sources for computing or displaying or misc functions etc... If you need rest service, why dont you use ODATA protocol.
