I think Pratik question is very interesting, can we assure the file integrity of the file copy?, i haven't been able to find any documentation about and i doubt a note to SAP will be answered properly.
From my own experience and checking SCN threads i haven't seen any problem related with the file integrity. May be to deliver a md5 file with the original file and the end application validates the file could be interesting to act. What do you think SCN members?
