Sorry for your troubles Nancy! We are on 608 as well and version 29 was installed successfully.
1.) We reset the version 24 implementation
2.) Applied note 2286240 and ran the ABAP with the 3 steps
3.) Imported the ZIP TR files
4.) Applied note 2274863 version 29
We had problems with the new plan start month maintenance and based on suggestion here I had to run #2 again and I had to regenerate the dynpro for the table maintenance.
