Dear All,
We have a new process 'Buying DEPB License' to be introduced in our company. If any of you have come across such process in SAP, please let me know how to map the same in SAP. Below is the process defined.
1. SCM Team to give monthly custom duty requirement to Commercial team.
2. Commercial team will arrange DEPB license/Certificate from the market. e.g. our firm will pay Rs. 98 for Rs. 100 worth of license.
3. License can be used port wise and after buying any license we need to register at particular port and
then we can use it for payment of custom duty.
4. Our firm will utilize this DEPB license for payment of custom duty.e.g. if we need to pay Rs. 150 custom duty then Rs. 100 should be set-off against the DEPB license/certificate we bought & balance Rs.50 should be credited from our bank account.
Please let me know how to map this entire process ranging from buying licenses from vendors to utilizing multiple/partial license in payment of custom duty.
