Hi Sumit,
I am glad to know that you are thinking about SAP Career.
You can definately try to learn SAP and take that as your career but coming to conclusion that if you learn you will get a job immediately may not be ideal.
You might have a question that which module will be best for you ?
To answer this question, you need to think 3 points:
- First: What is your educational background.
- Second: Do you have any related work experience.
- Third: Which subject you are more interested.
In your case, as you are from commerce background and have some experinece (assume you have
accounting or related experience) SAP Finance & Controlling module would be best.
However dont try to focus on both SAP FI & CO together. Its better to learn SAP FI First and once you think you have good learning in SAP FI, then concentrate on learning CO.
I have seen lot of folks in the market brand themselves as FICO Consultant but the reality is they neither possess good knowledge FI nor in CO.
The best method to learn is first try to get into an organisation where you will be working in SAP application as an end user and your focus should be to learn the business process flow and related transaction codes associated with those flow.
In the meantime try to learn sap FICO configuration by going to a private institute that might cost approx 10/15/20 INR (as you are in Kokata, India).
Lot of people are of the opinion that they should do the certification but we have to understand the fact that obtaining the SAP Certification does not guarantee job or good job in SAP.
In order to get a good job as a consultant, we need to have good mix or blend of business process knowledge and sap skills (Configuration/testing etc.). Dont just become configuration consultant only.
You can enter into an consultant level as an SAP experienced hier or lateral hier i.e. called trained hier.
The option for you would be lateral hier as you have some non- sap experience and you will be learning SAP and then by the time you have some end user experinece for a year or so, you will be perfect fit.
Let me know in case you have any questions.

Thank you very much.
