Re: Serial number length more than 30 characters

Hi Rupesh,

My requirement is to replace the existing serial number field with custom serial number field of larger length - Approximately 45 character.

This needs to be implemented in EWM, ECC and CRM systems.

Can you/anybody suggest me the best possible way to achieve this?

Are there BADI's/User exits that can be used to adopt the functionality into custom field if we create custom screens/fields and replace original screen number fields.

The object needs to be built.

All Suggestions/Solutions are welcome.
