A couple of weeks ago I posted a question related to the use of generic Release codes.
From the answers I deducted that one can have the same reléase code " PM" (Plant Manager) used by all the plant managers of the different plant of a company.
The autorization object "M_EINK_WRK" makes sure that manager from plant 1 can only approve POs froma his plant and not the POs of the other plants. This simplifies the amount of release strategies.one has to configure!
My question is, if I use these generic Release codes with SAP Business Workflow, how can one make sure that the right SAP-user (right plant manager) gets only his POs to be approved?
As I understand upon using workflow, one specifies per release group/release code a SAP-user or a position (HR -Org.structure) and one can only assign one of these to the specific reléase code!
How can one make this escenario work with the Workflow funcionality in place? Or is it not recommended to use generic release codes with the use of Workflow?
