I did some tests after installing the 32bits client, to discover that just like you nothing was working anymore.
After digging a bit (some hours 
) I discovered the origin of my problems: the installation of both clients (32 and 64 bits) inside the same computer (VM). If I uninstall both, and then install either one, the code if working fine. Else it isn't. I suspect the origin of the problem to be the registration of the SAPbouiCOM component... But I won't search more on this.
You can have both DI-API installed onto the same computer (mandatory in fact for B1if), but not both clients.
