Hi Arnold,
Thanks for the response.
Case:
Entity A owns 75% of Entity B
Entity B owns 73% of Entity C
My Ownership Manager set-up:
SCOPE A
Entity A - Holding - 100% POWN
Entity B - Purchase - 75% POWN
Entity C - Purchase - 54.75% POWN (that is 75% x 73%, computed after calculating ownership using Group Share Method)
SCOPE B
Entity B - Holding - 100% POWN
Entity C - Purchase - 73% POWN
The thing is, when i run consolidation at scope A, it does not extract the data for entity C. The only reason i can see right now is because transactional data of entity C from ECC which is imported to BPC, only belong or has one scope which is Scope B. Thus, when i run consolidation for Scope A, equity balances of Entity C are not extracted and elimination and minority interest are not computed. If im right that this is the reason for my current issue, what will i need to do to make the transaction data of entity C be available/belong to Scope A and B? Please help.
Thank you,
A
