CRM Middleware : Replicate Business Partner from CRM to ECC

Hi all,

next week i'm enhancing adapter object CUSTOMER_MAIN to replicate business partners from CRM system to ECC system. (OLTP)

First question : What's the right way to enhance standard adapter object CUSTOMER_MAIN and to add new segment types for custom data?

Second question : What's the standard function module in CRM system that reads data and sends data to ECC?

Instead,in ECC system,i saw that there's a standard function module called "COM_BUPA_MAIN_INBOUND" that inside it calls another function module for BP : "COM_BUPA_MAIN_BP_INBOUND".

Last question : Is "COM_BUPA_MAIN_BP_INBOUND" the correct function module in ECC?
